Sneak Peek Wednesday – Shoppes of Palos Place

Dreaming of starting your own Business or moving your current business to a better location? Maybe you’ve always dreamed of having that business in a small Retail Shop or maybe you’ve always dreamed of running Workshops and Classes in a boutique-sized space.

Remember I told you that my latest client is a commercial developer in town? Well I thought this would be a good opportunity to give you all a sneak peek at The Shoppes of Palos Place and some of this building’s progress. Just like in a new home building or in a remodel, little by little things begin to take shape and it gets exciting! I was just on site and all this below is already drywalled and ready for flooring and paint (I was running around with paint sample cans and it did not cross my mind to take any photos) ……

But this is my visual Storyboard of the proposed design. If you rent a shoppe from Brigid Capital, each retail shoppe is in a communal hall area and your shoppe will have its own distressed sliding barn door for security. You can decorate your shoppe on your own — after all, it is your own space to rent and decorate. One of the walls in the common Shoppes hall is brick that’s been salvaged from the original building ….

POST NOTE year 2016: above storyboard was changed many times and the space looks different, like this now

The spaces are just the right size for Retail or a Photography Studio,  Art Gallery, or a place to sell your craft and hold Workshops to teach your craft. There are still some spaces available and our beautiful City of Palos Heights is a quick 35 minutes from the Loop.

I’m so excited that our City is coming to life again. Brigid Capital is bringing back shopping,  gathering and a sense of community. What better place to start than in the building where our beloved Ben Franklin once stood and right across the street from some of the best restaurants and bars. I’m excited to be a part of this. What do you think Chicagoland retailers? Wouldn’t you love to rent here.
